NCAA Men's Basketball - HU Pirates vs Drexel Dragons

In a classic NCAA Men's Basketball game match up, the Hampton Pirates take on the Drexel Dragons, Saturday, February 18, 2023 at 4pm at the Hampton University Convocation Center.

Held in conjunction with the game will be the Phenix School Reunion Special Event honoring Black History Month. Representatives from several local civic organizations will also be in attendance. Phenix High School was a school for African Americans. It was created by the Hampton Institute, now Hampton University, as a normal school near the town of Hampton and Fort Monroe in Elizabeth City County, Virginia in 1931. The school was named in honor of Dr. George P. Phenix, who was president of Hampton Institute at the time.
