200+ Men Award Requirements

• All nominations must be submitted by a member of 200+ Men

• A member can only nominate one person per award category

• Nominees must reside or work in Hampton Roads

• Nominees can be male or female (except the John Lewis Award which is only open to African-American males who have not yet graduated from high school)

• Nomination submission will be a short writeup (no more than one page) that highlights the nominee’s accomplishments in the subject category

▪ Liberal use of “bullets” and “white space” is encouraged
▪ Write up must be submitted in Microsoft Word format

• For the John Lewis Award, consideration should be given to academic achievement and overcoming hardships in addition to community service activities
